Hughes' retention was priority number one for new Tigers co-coaches Luke Branighan and Dean Murray, who have been busy locking up the club's junior stocks ahead of the 2020 Woodbridge Cup campaign.
Next year is the club's centenary season and Branighan says locking up the Tigers quality juniors was crucial to ensure the club progresses deep into the finals.
Alongside Hughes, Regan's brothers Brydon and Curtis will play in black and gold again in 2020, while Earsman brothers Aaron and Kain and the Lachlan boys will also line-up for the junior club.
And the best thing about these blokes is they provide the full package.

And the brotherly love doesn't end there either.
Sellers brothers David and Wayne will link with great mate Branighan at Canowindra, while Dallas Booth, Trent Guihot and Garry Reilly, although not brothers, have agreed to make the switch to the cup competition in 2020.
"We've been lucky," Branighan said.
"The thing for myself and Dean, we've been blown away with the amount of phone calls we've had from players wanted to come over.
"And the best thing about these blokes is they provide the full package. What they provide off the field will equal what they provide on it.
"The club's looking for a happy environment and I know with these blokes they're there for the right reasons. They just want to play good footy and help Canowindra work towards a grand final appearance."
Branighan highlighted the quality of players already at Canowindra but was quick to point out most of that quality was still very green.
The former Oberon and St Pat's captain-coach says complimenting that youth with experience was crucial, and Sellers, Booth and Reilly will provide that wisdom in spades.
"Those three there, along with myself and Dean, there's a core of experience that'll help if we're lucky enough to get through to semis later in the year," Branighan added.
"Dave's a marquee signing. I'll be looking for him to lead the pack and I've watched Dallas with Portland this year and he's a class above the New Era. With quality ball he'll handle himself quite well in Woodbridge.
"And Garry has that X-factor. He can still do things on the field most players in Group 10 can't."
