Police are investigating the theft of 10 firearms from a safe on a rural property in the Central West on Saturday.

The owner told police he left the property last week and arrived home on October 19 at 6am to find the gun safe forced open and 10 firearms missing.
A crime scene was established at the rural property on Yarrabin Road at Twelve Mile, about 50 kilometres north west of Mudgee, and detectives with the Orana Mid Western Police District have begun an investigation.
A range of runs were kept in the safe, with the man owning five shotguns and five rifles.
Police are urging anyone who may be offered a gun for sale they suspect could be stolen to contact Mudgee Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The firearms stolen are:
- 1 - Combination rifle/shotgun .22/20G
- 2 - Single barrel shotgun 410G Stevens
- 3 - Single barrel shotgun Browning 12G
- 4 - Single barrel shotgun 12G CBC
- 5 - Double barrel shotgun 12G
- 6 - Double barrel shotgun 12G
- 7 - Rifle Remington 700 .222
- 8 - Rifle Mossberg 341 .22
- 9 - Rifle Baikal TOZ .22
- 10 - Rifle Lithgow .22
