It will bring its familiar mixed program of modern and older songs, jazz numbers and hymns from 1pm until 2pm after performing a series of indoor concerts during the cooler months.
Meredie Wright, whose child performs in the band, said she looked forward to sitting around the rotunda in the warmer weather.
"It's just a lovely atmosphere with the beautiful setting," she said.
Ms Wright said there had been a fair amount of renewal since band master Phil Rees took the helm this year.
"They got new music stands and taken delivery of new mutes for the instruments," she said.
"Slowly, but surely they're getting new instruments - some had reached the point where they were no longer playable," she said.
There is no charge to hear the band play on Sunday - they will run monthly until April.
