Three boys, including a 12-year-old, will front court on Thursday charged with assault after an employee at a food outlet on Summer Street was allegedly punched in the face.

The boys - aged 17, 16 and 12 - entered the food outlet shortly before 10pm on Wednesday night, allegedly threatening two employees and demanding cash.
Police were told a struggle ensued during which a female employee was allegedly punched in the face. The trio fled the scene empty-handed.
Officers from Central West Police District attended and commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
About 10.30pm that night police arrested three boys on Bathurst Road, Orange. They were taken to Orange Police Station where they were charged.
The 12-year-old boy from Clifton Grove and the 16-year-old teenage boy from Orange were charged with assault with intent to steal and destroy property, and breach of bail.
The 17-year-old teenage boy from Orange was charged with assault with intent to steal and destroy property.
They were refused bail to appeared at a children's court on Thursday.
