Le Lievre, the brother of skipper Hugh, is based in Sydney after a stint in Canberra and will travel to turn out in as much of the green and golds' 2019-20 campaigns as he possibly can.
The combined competition was a drawcard, not just with some games 45 minutes closer to home but with a higher standard across both towns.
Hugh said it would be the first full season the pair would have played together and while they for their first game in 'years' in last summer's Royal Hotel Cup, those moments have been few and far between.
"I'm really excited to play with him," he, the elder of the brothers, said.
"It's a unique opportunity and I'm looking forward to seeing how we'll go together."
Describing his brother as an 'attacking middle order batsman who bowls handy pace' and is good in the field too, the elder Le Lievre said he would be a massive boon for CYMS.
"He'll give us that strength and extra depth and hopefully he can pass that experience onto some of the younger kids," he said.
There's little chance of sibling rivalry creating comical run-outs on the field, with Le Lievre saying the two gel well together while on the pitch.
The younger Le Lievre won't be the only old hand returning for the club's 75th year, with confirmation Mick Delaney will play as the side's Royal Hotel Cup marquee player.
Delaney, a CYMS junior who led the club to the 2015-16 premiership, has also been drawn back for the club's milestone year and he's another the side's skipper is excited to see donning green and gold again.
Angus Le Lievre and Delaney played together at Ginninderra in Canberra and while the pair made their decisions to come to Orange separately, they'll be excited to combine forces again on the field.
CYMS' opening game of 2019-20 is on Sunday when they take on reigning Royal Hotel Cup champions St Pat's Old Boys as the opening game of a Twenty20 double header at Wade Park. Their BOIDC campaign starts the following Saturday.
