The second Bathurst Bullet - which leaves later in the morning and returns earlier in the evening on weekdays - was announced by the NSW Government in February this year and started running on September 16.
It complements the original Bathurst Bullet daily return service to Sydney which began running in 2012 after years of lobbying.
Transport for NSW figures show 619 people tapped on at the Bathurst Railway Station to board the new Bullet between September 16 and 30 and 422 people tapped off at Bathurst from the new Bullet during the same period.
At Rydal and Tarana village stations, which are stops for the second Bullet and which have also been added to the original Bullet's timetable, 44 people tapped on to board the second Bullet between September 16 and 30.
Transport for NSW figures show 32 people tapped off from the second Bullet at Tarana and Rydal during the same period.
A Transport for NSW spokesperson said the organisation was "pleased with the response" the second Bathurst Bullet had received so far.
It's expected more and more customers will make use of this train in future.

"This second service gives customers more choice and flexibility and provides locals with the option of a later start in the morning and earlier return in the evening," the spokesperson said.
"Stops at the growing areas of Tarana and Rydal have been added as a direct result of community feedback, helping bring our regional communities closer together, and providing more opportunity for customers living in these areas to use public transport.
"It's expected more and more customers will make use of this train in future."
Australian Community Media reported earlier this year that 17,802 passengers boarded the original Bathurst Bullet at Bathurst in the 2018-19 financial year - an average of 1483 a month or 49 passengers a day.
