I wonder how many other people will be inconvenienced as a result of this decision.
The operations manager for Australia Wide Coaches says that the change comes about in response to customer demand to arrive home earlier in Bathurst and Orange.
I would have thought that customers would be appreciative of a full day in Sydney.
I wonder if the real reason is that it would be more cost effective for Australia Wide Coaches as the company would be paying less in salaries for its drivers.
With a 6.30am departure from Orange (changed from 6am) and leaving Sydney Central at 3.40pm (instead of 5pm), the driver of the day is on duty for 2 hours less.
