The men forced entry into the property through a rear door at around 8pm and assaulted the man who had been home alone.
The intruders made the man hand over his wallet, phone and keys, before forcing him into a car at knifepoint.
They then took the victim to a Westpac ATM on Summer Street and forced him to withdraw cash.

After handing over money, the man was able to escape from the vehicle on the corner of Summer Street and Lords Place.
He sustained superficial injuries in the attack.
One offender was described as 180-centimetres tall, 75-80-kilograms and possibly of Aboriginal appearance. The second man was described as taller and heavier than his accomplice.
Earlier that evening, an elderly man returned to his home on Warrendine Street to find an intruder waiting.
The man confronted the elderly man in his living room and demanded he hand over his wallet.
He then exited the home before returning and demanding the resident's car keys, which were later found on the front lawn.
The offender took cash and left the premises at about 5.30pm without harming the occupant. Jewellery of sentimental value was also reported stolen.
The intruder was described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, with a large build, dark hair and 175-cms tall.
He was last seen wearing a dark grey or blue baseball cap, dark top and dark trousers.
A few hours later a taxi driver was the victim of an attempted robbery in Orange.
The driver picked up a man from Coulson Place at around 2.30am on Monday morning.
The passenger, described as around 20-years-old, slim build and Aboriginal in appearance, requested to be dropped off in Glenroi.
On the way, the passenger directed the driver to stop near Orchard Grove Road and demanded cash from the driver.
The driver got out of the taxi and was confronted by the passenger who threatened him with a large carving knife and continued to demand cash.
The driver sounded an alarm and the man fled on foot. He was last seen running across empty lots in a southern direction towards Sir Neville Howse Place.
Officers from the Central West Police District responded to all three incidents and crime scenes were established.
Acting Inspector Greg Payne said a number of lines of enquiry have been established after what was a "busy night" for scientific officers.
"As always we request anyone with information which could assist the investigations to speak to Orange police or call Crime Stoppers," Inspector Payne said.
