Students in Orange have lead the charge in striking for action on climate change policy, until now.
The recently retired, grandmother of two, Jazz Rosewell has founded Nannas Not Napp'n, a Facebook page created to unite an older group of allies.
Started in August, Nannas Not Napp'n now has almost 90 members of like-minded grandmas determined not to sit idle while global temperatures continue to rise.

Alongside partner Kate Jarzabek, Ms Rosewell was on her way to Sydney on Friday to join her daughter and granddaughter in the schools strike for climate demonstration in the city.
She said she hasn't been politically active in 40 years, since joining the gay pride movement and fighting for women's rights, but now it's time.
"We've got to get behind these kids," she said. "There's been a lot of evidence for a long time but I suppose we've all been living our lives and paying our mortgages.
"Now that I'm a nanna it fills me with absolute despair. What have we done? How did we get to this point?"
