Canobolas Rural Technology High School, Carcoar Village Association Incorporated, Orange Parkinsons Support Group, Orange Bush Nippers and 3rd Orange Scout Group were among the winners which will each receive up to $1500.
CSU awarded a total of $67,050 worth of grants to 67 recipients around the region in the second round of grants.
Grants were available for groups who contribute to arts and culture, sports development, education development, Indigenous engagement, and health and wellbeing.
Community engagement professor Laura Dan said each application was carefully assessed against the selection criteria.
"I want to extend my congratulations to all of the winners and I look forward to seeing all of their wonderful projects come to fruition"
The total amount awarded was more than $120,000.
