A man died after a two-vehicle crash in the Blue Mountains in the early hours of Thursday morning, September 19.
The Great Western Highway has reopened, with one-way traffic operating in the area. Motorists have been told to expect delays.
Just after 2am, emergency services were called to the Great Western Highway near Pritchard Street, Wentworth Falls, following reports a truck and car collided.
The driver and sole occupant of the car died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.
The male truck driver was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
