Senior men's captain Mick Evans and women's fullback Amy Symons claimed the Orange Tigers best and fairest at the club's awards night at Waratahs on Saturday.

Evans, in his first year as the side's co-captain, won the respect of the coaching staff and his teammates as he claimed both the best and fairest and the player's player award.
He won ahead of defender Joel Crosswell in the men's count while young gun Peter Byrne, son of club legend Mark, was named the side's rising star. Fellow junior Charlie Kemp was player of the finals for the men.
Symons claimed the top gong despite missing the final few games of the season with a broken leg, reflecting a strong season which was also marked by the captaincy of the AFL Central West's representative side.
The defender won the award of Erin Naden, who was also runner-up in the league's awards on Friday night and named the Tigers' player of the finals from their two appearances.
Monique Mann was player's player and Grace Macrae rising star.
Nate Romeo and Dael Bingham were handed coaches awards for the men's and women's sides respectively, while Callan Naden and Kelly Ann Routh werce most improved and Mark Mori and Emilie Lowe most consistent.
Women's skipper Jem Neuman won the goalkicking award from the midfield while the men split the award between Andrew Nelson and Tyson Hannus.
Ike Dean won the under-18s best and fairest ahead of Angus Easey while Elizabeth Gibson won the respective award for the youth girls ahead of Sarah Chamberlin.
Matt Brown and Harvey Sheppard backed up their awards as the best in the AFL Central West with club best and fairests in the under 14s and under 12s, winning ahead of Will Chamberlain and Thomas Macrae respectively.
Brendan Longley earned the inaugural Chris Rothnie Memorial Spirit Award for his work with the men's and women's teams in 2019 in a touching moment, with his partner and Chris' sister Hayley handing out the award.
Renee Cullis was also rewarded with several off-field awards as well as thanks from both the women's and youth girls' sides, while Damien Caughlan and Timothy Allen were given life membership.
