Tully Richards and Mal Haigh have organised a group ride up the Pinnacle and out to Lake Canobolas on Saturday, followed by a screening of the film Breaking Away at the Hotel Canobolas that night, with a selection of vintage bicycles on display beforehand.
Bike builders Geoff Scott and John Kitchen will bring in a mix of two-wheeled and three-wheeled bicycles, from high-end racing to one of the earliest bikes ever made.
Mr Richards said it seems young people don't seem to have the same reliance on bikes and relationship with cycling as they once did.
"This way they can come and have a look at the type of bikes mum and dad would've ridded," he said.
The group will meet at 8am at the Huntley Road car park at Jack Bradham Park for Saturday's ride.
