Kaylee Milson, 23, of Dalton Street, was initially sentenced in Orange Local Court on July 24.
She was caught driving in the Nile Street area about 11pm on May 13.
Milson had never had a driver's licence and at the time she was disqualified from driving until April 26 and it was her 12th offence of driving while disqualified.
She was also on parole at the time, however the term of that jail sentence expired on June 20, 2019.
Milson was still in custody when she appealed the severity of her sentence recently in Orange District Court.
In lieu of full-time jail, Acting Judge Geoffrey Graham released her into conditional liberty by giving her a seven-month intensive correction order, which is a community-based custodial sentence.
The 12-month driving disqualification she was given in the local court will remain.
