An electrical fault resulted in a car catching alight in Grevillea Street in the early hours of Friday morning.
Central West Police District chief inspector Peter Atkins said there was "no instance of anything untoward" due to the blaze.

Firefighters were called to the scene at about 2am on Friday and quickly responded to put out the flames.
The car was gutted by the fire.
In another incident, police responded to reports of two young people going door to door near Ramsay Court on Thursday night.
Witnesses in the area reported seeing one of the pair with a golf club.
Chief inspector Atkins said the two were escorted home by police and no charges were laid.
