The money was donated by the Robertson Brothers and Knox Old Boys to Cancer Care Western NSW from money raised at the Lachlan Robertson Memorial Cup rugby union clash between Knox Old Boys Legends and Orange Emus Legends.
The brothers, Bryn and Jason Robertson founded Brothers IV Brothers to raise money for NSW cancer services in memory of their late brother Lachlan.
Cancer Care Western NSW fundraising and marketing coordinator Jan Savage said this was the second year the brothers have raised funds for Orange cancer services.
It has to be the best, the people who come here not only are having cancer treatment but they may have arthritis and other body issues so they must have the best, that's what they deserve.

"They arrange all the sponsorship and financial donations from their contacts," Mrs Savage said.
"They have a fairly broad network that they approach."
She said items that will be upgraded include microwaves and dishwashers in the kitchen, chairs and beds.
"These donations have ensured that new beds and bases are to be installed where required in the next six weeks," Mrs Savage said.
It has to feel like this is a home for them, a home away from home.

She said there were 26 beds in lodge and it cost "$2000 a pop" for orthopedic mattresses.
"It has to be the best, the people who come here not only are having cancer treatment but they may have arthritis and other body issues so they must have the best, that's what they deserve," Mrs Savage said.
"It has to feel like this is a home for them, a home away from home."
As well as the rugby game the fundraising event is a family event with a jumping castle for children, and later on an auction and music.
Mrs Savage said Brothers IV Brothers will return next year for a final battle against Emus and it was anticipated the event would raise another $30,000 for each charity.
By then the Robertson brothers will have then raised about $1million for cancer services in NSW, including The Lighthouse and Chris O'Brien Centre in Sydney, and the Cancer Services Clinical Trials Unit at the Orange hospital.
