Orange Thunder is looking to pick up right where it left off at the end of a phenomenal 2018-19 season as it storms into 2020 with a bang after Orange players dominated carnivals over the past fortnight.

The club has had representatives across the NSW Public Schools Sports Association championships across the state in the past fortnight, and representative trials beganthis week.
Jayanna Dixon, Layla Barrett, Miah Naden, Claudia Dickerson and Eloise Harrison represented western while Lilly Clarke, Keeley Thorney, Hayley Besant and Mya Simmons all lined up in the Polding side last week.
Thunder touched down at the NSW PSSA boys' touch football championships in Wallsend towards the end of August, with 10 Orange players taking part in the Western side, while Thunder's Taj Jordan represented the Polding side.
Jordan made through to the semi finals, while Western finished eighth, with Samuel Hill, Lochie Bohringer, Tamaiti Puata, Jake Nell, Zeik Selwood, Will Robinson, Nicholas Chopping, Riley Dane and Mitchell French leading the way.
The Polding side took the chocolates in the Mudgee competition, beating all-comers to finish first out of the 15 sides involved, with those outfits coming from all across the state.
Clarke was dominant in the tournament last week as the young gun earned selection in the NSWPSSA All Schools Touch Football Team for the second year in a row.
Western coach Adam Hamling, whose troops finished 10th overall, said it was a really good standard of competition and was proud of his players for their performances on the back of just three training sessions.
"They did really well, especially coming up against some of the Sydney teams who train once a week," he said.
He said the Orange players did their club and city proud across both Polding and Western sides.
"They demonstrated just how professional and strong Orange is in competition," Hamling said.
"All the Orange girls performed really well in a very tough competition."
