Her pre-game routine involves putting her left shinpad on before her right, with the left guard carrying the signature of Alyson Annan.
"It's the only routine I have, I don't know why I've done it since she's signed it," she said.
We're just focusing on what we've done all year and that's being the best team we can be.
- CYMS skipper Jade Georgiou
The CYMS skipper had the chance to meet Annan when the Australian international - who she said was hockey's Michael Jordan - came to Orange, and she's hoping that routine will help her side get over the line.
"I'll put the shinpad on and I hope I can play a quarter as good as her," Georgiou said.
Despite Georgiou's wealth of experience at international level it'll be her first grand final in Orange and after training on Thursday she said she was nervous, but still excited.
"I've worked really hard this year to come back from having a baby so the fact we're in the big dance I'm excited. I know these opportunities don't come around these often," she said.
"Tonight was fun, the girls have got a good energy and the girls are in a really good mindset to enjoy the moment and take everything in."
"It's important at any level, you play your best hockey when you enjoy yourself and I've loved playing with the girls and being coached by Pete so to get this opportunity is very special."
She said in order to overcome Lithgow Panthers in the big dance the side will need to be "switched on from the start", but hadn't given a thought to the side's opponents for the weekend.
"We're just focusing on what we've done all year and that's being the best team we can be," Georgiou said.
The grand final begins at 12.30pm at the Orange Hockey Centre.
