They quietly go about their business and probably won't kick up too much of a fuss if you forgot about Father's Day.
But with Orange venues putting on beers, burgers and defence classes in their honour this weekend, it would probably be better if you just took him along.

1. Take your dad for a food truck lunch at the old horse station
Local dad and chef Scott Want will put on lunch for families at Heifer Station this Sunday.
Mr Want will travel to The Escort Way winery with his Ceello World Tour Food Truck to deliver the goods to young and adult.
Heifer Station will take cater to wine swilling dads while Pioneer Brewing will look after the beer drinkers.
Tickets are $35 for adults and include lunch and a beverage, $20 for children and include lunch and a non-alcoholic cider or $100 for two adults and two children.

2. Feel the magic at the Ophir over a long lunch
Tell you old man to leave the dad jokes at home this Father's Day and let someone else take care of the entertainment.
Magician Craig from Pooka Entertainment will be at The Ophir Hotel on Sunday making balloon creatures and performing tricks.

3. Get in early for a martial arts class with dad on Saturday
Learn some defence against 'tickle torture' with a martial arts class at Kumiai Ryu High Impact.
The Lords Place facility have invited dads and children to take part in a free class at 11am on Saturday.
They'll even put on a barbecue afterwards so lunch is taken care of.

4. Let your busy bee dad enjoy the buzz at the brewery near Bathurst
The old homestead out at Vittoria has been keeping visitors content since 1859, today they are keeping dads happy the 2019 way: free beer.
The Beekeepers Inn Cafe will be open for lunch and dinner and their offering dads a free pint with their meals on Sunday.

5. Get outside on the first day of Spring with The Greenhouse
The Greenhouse of Orange wants families to join them on the rooftop for live music, barbecue ribs and children's activities.
