The 33rd Daffodil Day saw Jo Krats join the men and women who gave up their time to collect for the cause.
Ms Krats manned the caravan at the Summer Centre selling daffodils and merchandise to willing shoppers.
She said she'd been helping out with the Cancer Council after receiving such incredible support from the organisation after her breast cancer diagnosis five years ago.
"There's not many people I know who don't know someone whose life hasn't been effected by cancer," she said.
"Most people come up to us in the caravan quite willing to help and usually settle on something."
Daffodil Day is the Cancer Council's most iconic fundraising event and this year it aims to raise more than $4 million for cancer research.
Volunteers got behind the cause in force in Orange with daffodil pins and fresh daffodils sold at Post Office Lane, Orange City Centre, Summer Centre, Orange Central Square, North Orange Marketplace, Orange Ex-Services' Club and Orange Health Service.
There was also volunteers roaming the CBD.
