Daffodil Day is the Cancer Council's most iconic fundraising event and this year it aims to raise more than $4 million for cancer research.
Residents can show their support by donating to wear a daffodil pin or to receive fresh daffodils at Post Office Lane, Orange City Centre, Summer Centre, Orange Central Square, North Orange Marketplace, Orange Ex-Services' Club and Orange Health Service.
There will also be volunteers roaming the CBD.
The Cancer Council's Bree Kelly said when people donate on Daffodil Day they're helping us get one step closer to a world without cancer.
"We need the support of our communities to help us raise money for life-saving cancer research," she said.
