Toy store owners Kim Morgan and Jamie Gardoll will take a table full of board games to the upstairs location, offering young and old the opportunity to play.

Games include Exploding Kittens, Unstable Unicorns, Bears vs Babies, Dimension, Hive, Tatsu, Klask, King Frog, Lost Cities, Qwirkle, Poopy Head (yep) and more.

Ms Morgan said families could buy some food and drink at the restaurant and get a bit competitive.

"It's a free event for families to have a get together and have a bit of fun," she said.

"We've done a few of them over the winter months when the weather's not quite so kind."

Ms Morgan said her partner Mr Gardoll was the board game enthusiast of the two and would be onsite to offer some tricks and tips.

The Clever Owl event will run from 3-6pm at the Greenhouse and is suitable for children over two years old.
