Orange trainer Michael Plummer has nominated six horses to run in Bathurst next Monday as part of massive fields across seven races.
Special Design will be looking to add to an impressive return from its past four starts in the Benchmark 58 handicap.
A remarkable 28 horses have nominated for the 1108m feature, and with a first and third at Mildura in the past two months following a six-week spell, the four-year-old mare has one of the best recent runs in that spell.
It's been a good return for the mare since a six week spell, and is settling into the 1100m distance with a fourth and fifth across 1100 and 1200 metres in those, with its win on a soft track across 1210m.
Plummer has also put forward Royal Abbey, Stately Boy, Tickets on Kye, Done Right and Down Stage.
Alex Van Den Bos has nominated Cat Walk Queen, which after a run of two seconds and a first has fallen back into the pack in its past two starts, but the mare will be hoping for a return to form at Tyers Park.
Eva Jean is primed for the Harvest Cafe N Store Benchmark 58 Handicap over 1408m in an 18-strong field for Orange trainer Brad Draper.
The eight-year-old had a third last time she ran in Bathurst on July 29 over just the 1308m.
