Parade co-ordinator and year 3 and 4 teacher Paige Bernard said Batman was the most popular character among the younger children.
However, among the older children there were several students who dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, the Queen of Hearts was popular, along with Harry Potter characters, Wally from Where's Wally and Thing 1 and Thing 2.
"There were a lot of Willy Wonkas that were done really beautifully," she said.
"I'm just so blown away at how amazing the kids were, it's really nice to see."
Miss Bernard said this year's theme was "reading is my secret power".
As well as the parade students were given daily reading challenges such as to read a book that has a super hero.
