Riding For The Disabled Orange will host a fundraiser at Odeon 5 Cinema on Sunday and everyone is invited.
The Bulgas Road charity provides horse and pony rides for children with disabilities to enable them to experience benefits such as improved balance and posture, and the development of fine motor skills.
Around 30 students from Anson Street School, Glenroi Heights Public School and the MET School travel to the property each week for a horse ride, as well as a few independent animal lovers.
To cover the costs of the volunteer run program, Riding For The Disabled Orange will screen Ride Like A Girl, a film based on the story of Michelle Payne, the first female jockey to win the Melbourne Cup.
RDA Publicity Officer Celia Klinger said the organisation receives no funding and offers its services at a small cost to families, which only covers insurance.
She said it relies on fundraisers to cover the upkeep of facilities and the grounds, as well as paying utilities.
The private screening will kick off at 1.30pm on Sunday.
Tickets are $20 from Collins Booksellers and include afternoon tea.
