What is worse is the thought that they all have to be connected to the cities water supply as will the Quest apartments, the new private hospital and later on the new DPI.
As residents we are told to cut back on our water use and it is going to get worse, our gardens will suffer and for some of us they are a great joy in life.

I hate to think of the amount of water being used when visitors come to Orange for festivals and sporting events.
I am not against these events, far from it, but i think we have to be practical and put some events on hold until the situation improves.

Orange is surpassing any chance of sustainability, the car parks are congested, the roads are congested and any green space is being consumed by concrete slabs.
Another gripe I have is about the $25 million dollars being spent on another sporting venue.
That amount of money would have been better spent going towards a state-of-the-art waste facility accounting for the amount of waste being produced that this country cannot cope with.
