Collette Lyons cemented her spot as one of the nation's strongest school swimmers at the School Sport Australia 2019 Swimming Championships in Melbourne.

The championships took place from July 28 to August 2.
The Kinross youngster nabbed two gold medals on her own in the 200m individual medley and the 50m freestyle before forming a crucial part of her two relays.
Lyons teamed up with Ellie Beck, Tylah Crabtree, and Haylee Johnston for the 200m medley relay before backing up in the 4x50 freestyle relay with Chelsea Jones, Olivia Wunsch, and Isabella Lee.
Lyons also claimed a silver in the 400m medley and bronze in the 200m butterfly.
Meanwhile, Knox Gibson was an agonising seven milliseconds off a gold medal in the 100m breaststroke, coming second to Taine Wilhare.
He picked up two additional silver medals, one in the 50m breaststroke and one in the medley relay.
Gibson nabbed two bronze medals in the 50m butterfly and the freestyle relay.
Oliver McLaughlin, a teammate of Lyons' at Kinross Wolaroi School, also picked up a gold medal.
McLaughlin claimed gold in the 50m backstroke by nearly half a second, and also picked up a silver medal in the 4x50m medley relay.
