While snow and ice on the roads between Orange and Bathurst caused traffic to slow, those who chose to stay home made the most of the white-weather conditions.
Snowfall blanketed North Orange and the wineries around Mount Canobolas, while the CBD got several dusting throughout the morning.

The Bureau of Meteorology predicted the fun wasn't over either, with an 80 per cent chance of more snow in Orange on Sunday.
All the Central West Junior Rugby Union scheduled for Waratahs Sportsground and Endeavour Oval, all the Orange District Junior Football Association and all the Orange Netball Association junior games was called off on Saturday morning.
Oberon and Blayney's Group 10 Rugby League fixtures, at Oberon Sportsground, were also cancelled on Saturday morning while all of the Bathurst-hosted Premier League Hockey games had reportedly been abandoned as well.
Pinnacle Road was closed at Wallace Lane before midday as was Canobolas Road, just after the Orange racecourse.
The current forecast for Saturday was a top of 3-degrees Celsius.
