Blayney-based firefighters Casey Dixon and Adam Hamilton will be taking part in the Firefighters Climb for Motor Neurone Disease on November 9.
The pair will climb the 98 storeys, or 1504 stairs of the Sydney Tower Eye wearing full structural ensemble and air sets that carry a combined weight of 20kgs.
The pair will be holding a barbecue and fundraiser at the Super IGA Summer Centre from 10am to 1pm with firefighters and trucks from the Fire and Rescue NSW Orange station, whose support Ms Dixon said had been "amazing".
"They've been so welcoming, they've gone above and beyond."
