Choosing a university is a huge decision, and the best way to make an informed decision is to immerse yourself in an open day.
We are so fortunate to have a world-class university right here in Orange and another campus in Bathurst just 45 minutes away.
You have two chances to attend Charles Sturt University open days in the Central West this year - the first is in Bathurst this Sunday, August 4, and then again in Orange on Friday, September 6.
There will be plenty of information sessions on hand, tours and activities on both days.
Remember, open days are not just for school leavers - there are so many courses and flexible learning opportunities at CSU, many students are older and/or online students.
While the diversity and quality of courses and flexible learning options are popular features of CSU, a significant point of difference between us and other Australian universities is that our regional locations offer students safe, secure, affordable and supportive learning environments in friendly regional communities.
Another big pull factor is our enviable graduate employment rate. CSU consistently ranks highly for graduate employment.
A recent survey showed that 81 per cent of domestic graduates of CSU found employment within four months of completing their bachelor degree.
We hope to see you at our Bathurst campus on Sunday - whether you are a prospective student or a curious local. If you are interested in learning more about the courses on offer at our lovely Orange campus, put Friday, September 6 in your diary for the Orange open day.
At 4.45pm you can hear from our joint program in medicine team and 6pm you will be able to tour our state-of-the-art dental and oral health and simulation clinic.
