Students from Kinross Wolaroi School will bring the slums of 19th century England to life at Orange Civic Theatre this weekend when they perform Oliver! the Musical.

Based on Charles Dicken's famous novel Oliver Twist, with music by Lionel Bart, the musical is being directed by Heidi Anthony and will star Edward Southwell as Oliver, Jonty King as Fagan and Phoebe Litchfield as Nancy.
"It's a really well known show, it's got great music," Ms Anthony said.
"We auditioned the show in February and we've been rehearsing since then."
She said, including the band and back stage students and cast the show would include about 80 students from years 7 to 11.
The public shows will take place at 7.30pm on Friday and Saturday. Tickets can be bought from Orange Civic Theatre or Ticketek.
