Can you feel the city buzzing with exciting about the impending six months?
It's hard to believe it's less than six months until Rocket Man comes to the Central West as apart of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
Sir Elton will be at Carrington Park in Bathurst on Wednesday, January 22 as a part of his world tour.
Unfortunately for fans, the only official tickets left are the VIP experience (which would see you part with $1499-gulp!) unless you fall for the Viagogo trap that many have fallen victim to before.
The tour is visiting Australia and New Zealand between the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020 in his three-year long global tour.
Central West fans are already getting excited.
A petition was launched last month to get Bathurst-man Andy Wheeler to be the superstar's personal tour guide.
At least 500 have signed the petition so far.
Matthew Lazarus-Hall, the tour producer on behalf of Chugg Entertainment, said the music superstar set the challenge on each tour to play somewhere different and Bathurst fits that bill.
Sir Elton played at Queensland regional centre Mackay, which has a population of about 80,000, in 2017.
"It [Bathurst] is probably one of the smaller cities that we have gone to," said Mr Lazarus-Hall, who has been involved in "eight or nine" Elton tours of Australia in the past 15 years.
"But it's not as isolated."
