Pioneer Brewing Co's Black Angus IPA was profiled in Australia's Craftiest Beer, compiled by Trevor Lowder of Craft Beer Coopery.
Brewer Peter Gerber said the brewing industry was a tight one and he was regularly in touch with other breweries to make sure they were doing okay.
"We're farmers ourselves so we know what farmers are going through with the drought," he said.
"Trevor's all about, how do you start that conversation? People find catching up over a beer relaxing."
Money merger
CKC Accountants and Mike Crowley & Associates have merged into a single entity, Thrive Advice.
Marketing manager Anita Craw said the company, now located at 8 McNamara Lane, now employed 20 people and offered both accountant services and financial advice.

Situated on a 2.5-acre block, it suggests a caravan park or other accommodation could be pursued.
