Competition leaders Life Studio take on third-placed OHS Hornets from 3.50pm in a battle of the heavyweights, a clash many thought would be a top-of-the-table encounter before the latter side was handed a shock loss by Life Studio Mid West Eyes in round seven.
The Hornets found their mojo again the following week in the last game before the mid-season break, the same week Life Studio suffered their first loss of the season to second-placed Orange City Craig Harvey Mechanical.

With the Lions taking on Orange Physiotherapy in a second-versus-fourth epic from 1.10pm, there's a chance Life Studio could push further ahead of the chasing bunch or, should the Hornets win, come back to the pack.
In the top tier's other games Mid West Eyes take on Life Studio Sportspower and Hawks Royals play Orange City Epiroc, both from 2.30pm.
