Monday's top temperature will have a distinct hint of spring about it when the mercury nudges towards 15 degrees Celsius.
Weatherzone's records show the highest temperature recorded in July was 15.8 degrees, back on July 22, 2009.
The mornings will still be relatively brisk, with Monday morning's minimum to be 2 degrees.
The warmer weather will be a welcome change for some after last week when the temperature failed to reach double figures between Monday and Thursday.
So far this month the highest temperature was 14.4 degrees on July 1, and the coldest temperature was minus 2.8 degrees.
However, on July 2, 2002, the temperature dipped to a freezing minus 7.7 degrees.
Leading up to Monday, Saturday is expected to have frost then sunny with the temperature ranging from minus 1 to 12 degrees and Sunday will range from 1 degree to 13 degrees.
The rest of the week will also be sunny. Tuesday is predicted to be between 4 and 13 degrees, Wednesday is to be between 9 and 3 degrees, and Thursday is to be between 0 and 11 degrees.
