Spring Street Preschool and Early Education Centre, Yarrawong Preschool and Early Education Centre and Courallie Park Preschool and Early Education Centre are operated by Orange City Council and provide preschool programs, developed for the individual needs of each child. The program focuses on academic milestones but importantly, priority is given to the child's emotional independence, social skills and resilience.
All three centres adhere to the National Quality Framework, which provides a national approach to regulation, assessment and quality improvement for early childhood education and care services.
This means your pre-school child will be taught under a national curriculum by university qualified early childhood teachers, which helps children prepare for formal schooling and gives them a leg-up in the early school years.
The three centres are flexible and open for long-day care hours, from 8am to 6pm, and the centres stay open during the school holidays, with the exception of Christmas and New Year period. Enrolling your young child in one of these three centres provides a consistency of care from newborn right through to kindergarten.
