NSW Police are appealing for information after a man was critically injured in Mudgee on Wednesday.

Police say a 22-year-old man left his Inglis Street home in Mudgee between 2am and 4am on Wednesday for unknown reasons.
About 1.30pm that afternoon, the man was located by his partner in the laundry of his house suffering "significant" bruising to his face, head, and lower body.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District established a crime scene at the home and are continuing investigations into the incident.
Anyone with information on the man's whereabouts between 2am and 1.30pm on Wednesday is encouraged to contact Mudgee police or Crime Stoppers.
