Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in the state's Central West on the weekend.

A 36-year-old man was stabbed as he was leaving a vehicle in Columbia Drive, Dubbo, between 11pm on Saturday and 2am on Sunday morning.
The attacker ran from the scene while a witness rendered assistance to the man who was taken to Dubbo Base Hospital.
Police attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District established a crime scene and investigations into the incident continue.
Meanwhile, Police are appealing for information after a business was broken into at about 4.25am on Saturday morning.
Offenders drove a white Toyota Landcruiser into a side fence and through a glass door at a Lee Street business in Wellington.
The offenders removed several chainsaws and left the scene. Police attached to Orana Mid-Western PD allege the white Toyota Landcruiser was later found well alight.
Damage sustained to the building is expected to be in excess of $30,000.
