The 10-year-old shaved her head at Wade Park in June at the Group 10 derby between CYMS and Hawks, raising money for friends and family members who'd been diagnosed with cancer.
Ella has been recognised by mayor Reg Kidd - who was at the headshave ceremony - and Member for Orange Phil Donato since her effort, which raised $7202 for the Cancer Council.
While she knew the awards were coming a week or so out, Ella said she didn't expect or plan to win accolades for her fundraising but was "pretty happy" to be recognised.
As for her short hair, she's still getting used to the cold despite about 20 beanies.
