A man who was stopped by police after an altercation with people on Icely Road about 9.30pm on May 11, was convicted of drug possession when he faced Orange Local Court on Monday .

Douglas Vale, 23 of Anson Street, was searched by police after bystanders said Vale had been looking into vehicles with a torch.
During the search police found a bag in his sock that contained a drug.
Vale told police the drug was half an Oxycodone tablet, however drug analysis undertaken at Orange Police Station revealed it was 0.1 grams of methamphetamine.
Driver who failed cannabis test now drug free
A man who was caught driving with cannabis in his system appeared in Orange Local Court on Monday.
Raymond Baart, 40, of Elsham Avenue, told police after he failed the drug test on December 22, 2018, that he had smoked a joint at noon the day before.
He was fined $550 and his driver's licence was disqualified for for eight months.
Solicitor Andrew Rolfe said Baart attended the traffic offenders program and made an effort to be drug free since 2018.
Unlicensed driver caught on camera
A woman who was captured on CCTV driving without a driver's licence was convicted in Orange Local Court on Monday.
Chantelle Louise Smith, 28, of Sampson Street, was seen by police with a white Mitsubishi Magna on Bathurst Road, on May 11, but she drove away.
Magistrate Karen Robinson said because it's a fine only offence and Smith was in custody facing bigger problems with an unrelated matter she would take no further action.
