Sutherland ran out 103-61 victors at Sir Neville Howse Stadium as every Sharks player hit the scoreboard, with Reece Craigie top-scoring with 21 points against the Eagles.
Mitch Selwood and Kobe Mansell scored 16 and 15 points respectively for the hosts, but were the only Eagles to hit double figures on the scoreboard.
Both Andrew Manios and Ben Gundry were fouled out for the hosts as Adam Kuenzle was also sent off for five fouls in a bruising, physical game.
