An elderly woman was reported to have driven one of the cars involved in the incident, which occurred just after 6pm on Summer Street.
The woman was taken to Orange hospital for observation and has since been released.

Officers from the Central West Police District, NSW Ambulance and Fire and Rescue NSW attended the scene.
Orange firefighters received a call out at 6.07pm following a report someone was trapped in the vehicle.
The rescue team arrived at 6.12pm and were at the scene for 20 minutes.
A spokesperson for Fire and Rescue NSW said it is believed the individual was not trapped by the time they arrived.
Officers from the Orange police station described the accident as "minor".
