The accident occurred at 7.55am on the Great Western Highway, near Somers Street, at Lawson.
Live Traffic reports that emergency services are on the scene.
Traffic is impacted, with two of three lanes in each direction currently closed. Motorists are urged to drive with caution and allow extra travel time.
There's no reports of any traffic issues on the Bells Line of Road.
