Visitors to Peisley Street Gallery from July 19-27 will find out when the Pinnacle Players host their maiden play, Art.
Written by award-winning playwright Yasmina Reza and directed by Peter Young, the comedy follows three friends, Alvaro Marques as Marc, Nick Tucknott as Serge and Mark Coster as Yvan, as they deal with Serge's latest purchase.
The conflict is set to come to blows and although Mr Tucknott said "it's not Rocky Balboa", Mr Coster has already suffered a black eye in the name of art.
"I missed the mark and hit [myself], but I didn't notice it at first," he said.
Pinnacle Players formed several months ago, owned by Mr Young and Jeff Thorn, with Janice Harris coming on board as creative consultant.
Mr Young said the three had been "itching" to get back into theatre after a long break.
"We wanted to do something where we had a bit more control, something immersive and contemporary where we could match traditional works with non-traditional venues," he said.
"We ended up choosing Art and what better space to do it than the art gallery here?"
Tickets for the four performances are on sale, click here.
