Waratahs held their annual general meeting on Thursday night and it was resolved the club would be dissolved and cease to exist as of August 1, 2019.
Reportedly lack of player interest was a major factor while, with no junior club, the limited prospect of improvement and development also played a role in the decision. President Scott McLean will stay on for the next four weeks.
Waratahs last competed in the top grade in 2013-14, and have been playing in the lower grades since then. The ODCA has not yet released its lower grade structures or draws yet.
