A man was arrested in Orange on Monday after an incident involving a child on South Terrace.

Police allege the 17-year-old man approached the child and demanded property, while threatening the child with a weapon.
The teenage offender was charged with demanding property with menace and intent to steal.
He was released on conditional bail following a ruling at Dubbo Children's Court on Tuesday. His matter will be back at court in Orange on July 29.
Also on Monday, a 19-year-old man was charged with a weapons offense and with intent to commit violence.
Police allege the man took a taxi to an address in Orange and failed to pay at the end of the trip.
The 19-year old reportedly threatened the taxi driver with a weapon after he approached the property to collect the fare.
In an unrelated matter, a vehicle was damaged on Farrell Road on Thursday night.
A silver Holden Commodore was parked at the location when it sustained a number of scratches.
Officers from the Central West Police District allege the incident took place after 10pm on Thursday and before 8am on Friday.
Police are also investigating a break and enter which occurred on Phillip Street between 8am June 26 and 5.30pm July 1.
The offender gained entry to the property through a rear window and took off with a gaming console.
On the weekend, a window was smashed on a community building on Garema Road.
