Fitzgerald Estate Agents already employs two agents in addition to Mr Fitzgerald, Scott Petersen and Jodie Kind.
After selling his share in One Agency to now-director Ash Brown a year after he started the business, Mr Fitzgerald said he missed being at the head of the operation.
"I realised the right place for me was to be in business," he said.
With a growing number of real estate businesses in the Orange market, Mr Fitzgerald said property marketing and presentation remained his focus to set the venture apart.
"[It's about] how to get the property looking its best to maximise the sales price," he said.
Riches to explore
AN exploration firm has reached the next milestone towards extracting resources from the area and is now looking to list a company for further studies.
Ardea Resources Limited hopes to spin out its NSW Lachlan Ford Belt tenements into another public-listed offering, Godolphin Resources Limited.
The development comes off the back of two years of exploration across Lewis Ponds, Copper Hill East, Yeoval and nearby Mount Aubrey, as well as Gundagai.

Lewis Ponds, 10 kilometres from the historic Ophir goldfields, is likely to yield gold, zinc and lead, with gold at Mount Aubrey and gold and copper at Yeoval.
Once listed, Godolphin Resources would operate out of Orange.
Geology superintendent Johan Lambrechts said he was excited to be working in the region.
"Last week we were walking the hills and you have to curb your enthusiasm when you see the mineral streaks on the ground that have been there for a hundred years," he said.
Cafe for lease
AN opportunity has opened up ahead of this years picking season, with the cafe lease available at Huntley Berry Farm.
The cafe has been listed as fully refurbished for $150 a week plus GST, including utilities, with access to up to 15,000 visitors a year.

Those interested have been encouraged to contact the farm.
Retail takes hit
TWO Summer Street retail stores have closed in the past week.
Worldly Treasures, next to the Parkview Hotel, closed last Tuesday, less than two years after it changed ownership.
After two closing-down sales in recent months, Ishka also shut its doors on June 23.
