Officers from the Central West Police District executed a search warrant at the Edward Street address at around 1pm, seizing plants and arresting those alleged to have cultivated them.
The police search uncovered four large cannabis plants believed to have been grown in a hydroponic set-up inside a shed at the address.
Chief Inspector Peter Atkins said some "dry leaf" was also found at the property.
"We will allege that it was a sophisticated set-up that's taken some time to construct," Inspector Atkins said.
Inspector Atkins said the crime was not believed to be linked to the discovery of counterfeit notes, drugs and ammunition on a Molong property in March.
Detective Inspector Bruce Grassick said the Molong arrest should come as a warning to criminals.
"Anyone who thinks of being involved in the cultivation of drugs, we are going to eventually catch up with you," he said.
