Scrumptious on Summer Street donated $2500 from its Anzac Day takings to the non-profit organisation.
Orange Legacy fundraising committee chairman John Holeman welcomed the donation, which will help people from Orange and as far as Blayney, Coonamble and Nyngan.
"It's rather nice, all the staff donated their time, they gave us a very substantial donation," Mr Holeman said.

"I think it's very encouraging we have such good local support and it also helps keep Legacy in public view.
"It goes to supporting widows of ex-service men and we help any children of service men [or women] who lost their lives or became incapacitated by their service."
Scrumptious on Summer co-owner Mandeep Singh said the money was raised the takings from Anzac Day when through sales of coffee and Anzac day biscuits from the coffee bar from 5.30am to 11am.
Mr Singh said staff donated their time for the day and each worked for four or five hour shifts increasing the fundraising total.
"Whatever we made on that do all [went] to Legacy," Mr Singh said.
"Legacy is just a big thing, John is doing a great job and we want to what we can."
The initiative was started by Scrumptious on Summer six years ago and has been continued by the current owners Mr Singh, Minakshi Sandu, Sunil Mor and Rajbir Kaur for the past two years.
This year The Mills, Factory Espresso and The Burrow also raised money for Orange Legacy through coffee sales on Anzac Day.
