Head of College John Weeks said the "brand-new operation" was aimed at making it easier for the 15 or so Orange students to travel to school, but a large part of the service was due to parents.
"We keep getting enrolment enquiries from this region with parents asking about this bus service," he said.
"People have said if we had [a bus] they'd be there tomorrow."
Mr Weeks also expected the current crop of 15 Orange students to double in the next 12 months, and said enquiries had "really ramped up" since the two schools merged.
"We're looking to meet that demand by putting transport links all over the west," he said.
He also said the merged schools were proving to be a boon for boarders who might not want to head all the way to Sydney.
